The successful candidate will be a key driver in the UK operations Sarbanes-Oxley initiative and act as a focal point for conducting process documentation, control assessments and testing to ensure UK is compliant with legal requirements. Large element of value-added activities due to key focus on facilitating process re-design and improvement in the relevant sales and operations processes. Actual additional focus will depend on the candidates preferred area of interest and the need(s) within the organization at the time. This role is largely seen as up to a 12 month contract position but may be considered for a permanent position.
The successful candidate will have:
- University degree
- Qualified accountant ( ACA or ACCA)
- Big 4 control based audit experience
- 3-4 yrs max work experience
- Interest in or general knowledge of IFRS, SOX, US GAAP.
